THE PROPERTY
Acacia Grove is not just a place; it's a living testament to nature's resilience and the cherished history of the Simonson Family. This family property, spanning 55 lush acres, was acquired in 1994 and held a very different landscape back then. Once grazing grounds for the Masai's livestock, it was predominantly unwanted swamp with only a sparse handful of trees.

However, through a remarkable transformation, this land has evolved into the thriving oasis you see today. Over the past three decades, without any deliberate planting, the indigenous trees have flourished, reclaiming their place.

This natural haven has become a sanctuary for wildlife and birds as the city has expanded around it. Here, you can encounter Dik-dik Antelope, Mongoose, Bush Babies, Vervet Monkeys, Guinea Fowls, Civet Cats, Giant Eagle Owls, and countless species who've made this land their home naturally.

From wild coastlines to the savannah's edge, they've carved a life of adventure, craftsmanship, and soul-led hospitality.

Lane is a master of many trades - a skilled welder, mechanic, and quiet visionary who ensures every corner of Acacia Grove runs like clockwork. Charley, a chef, artist, and natural host, brings the flavours, colours, interiors and rhythms of Africa to life with each dish and brushstroke.

Together, they've built more than a destination - they've created a sanctuary. Acacia Grove is their offering: a place shaped by grit, grace, and a deep desire to share the magic of African living. Here, every detail holds a story, and every guest becomes part of the next chapter.
